The following manual contains instructions for six experiments which are part of the basic metrology course offered in English for first year students of Electronics. The topics of the experiments are:

• DC measurements
• AC measurements
• DC and AC bridges
• strain gauge sensors applications
• the oscilloscope as a measuring instrument

Apart from detailed instructions on how the experiments should be carried out, the manual also contains the basic theoretical background of the topics of experiments and is designed in such a way that it serves as a basis for the preparation of all experiment reports.
