The monograph contains the second part of the peer-reviewed articles of the participants of the international student scientific conference "AGH International Student Conference: Knowledge, Technology and Society" (AGH ISC 2018) organised under the patronage of the Rector of AGH Prof. Tadeusz Słomka. The Chair of the Organising Committee of the conference is the Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs, Prof. Anna Siwik, and the Chair of the Scientific Committee is the Vice-Chancellor for Education, Prof. Wojciech Łużny. The conference is aimed at first- and second-level students involved in research and scientific activities in the broad sense of the term, as well as their academic supervisors, promoters and mentors. Participation in the conference provides an opportunity to present previous scientific and research achievements in an international forum, to exchange knowledge with students and employees of other universities, and to establish cooperation in the implementation of joint projects. The thematic scope is divided into four main areas: technical sciences; mathematical, physical and chemical sciences; environmental sciences; and humanities and social sciences.
Monografia zawiera drugą część recenzowanych artykułów uczestników międzynarodowej studenckiej konferencji naukowej "AGH International Student Conference: Knowledge, Technology and Society" (AGH ISC 2018) zorganizowanej pod patronatem rektora AGH prof. Tadeusza Słomki. Przewodniczącą Komitetu Organizacyjnego konferencji jest prorektor ds. studenckich prof. Anna Siwik, a przewodniczącym Komitetu Naukowego prorektor ds. kształcenia prof. Wojciech Łużny. Konferencja skierowana jest do studentów I i II stopnia zaangażowanych w szeroko rozumianą działalność badawczą i naukową oraz ich opiekunów naukowych, promotorów i mentorów. Udział w konferencji daje możliwość zaprezentowania dotychczasowych osiągnięć naukowych i badawczych na forum międzynarodowym, wymiany wiedzy ze studentami i pracownikami innych uczelni, a także nawiązania współpracy przy realizacji wspólnych projektów. Zakres tematyczny podzielony został na cztery główne obszary: nauki techniczne, nauki matematyczne, fizyczne i chemiczne, nauki środowiskowe oraz nauki humanistyczne i społeczne.
